Text message terms

What you are agreeing to

diyre's text program is for people selling their home with diyre. When you opt in and confirm your mobile number, we text you about your listing: our listing assistant helps you complete it by text (the details, and photos of each room), answers questions about selling with diyre, and introduces you to professionals such as photographers or inspectors when you ask. We may also text you about things that need your attention, such as showing requests, offers and deadlines. You can also text our number first at any time; we reply in that conversation. We do not send marketing promotions.

Message frequency varies with your listing's activity and your conversations with us. Message and data rates may apply. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of using diyre or buying anything.

How you sign up for texts

You opt in on our website with a checkbox that is never ticked for you and is not needed to create an account. It appears on our public text sign-up at www.diyre.io/text (enter your mobile number and tick the box), right under the phone number field when you add your mobile number to your account, on the last step of listing your home, and in your account settings, and reads:

Text me about my listing. By checking this box, I agree to receive recurring automated text messages from diyre at the phone number provided about my home listing, including our listing assistant helping me complete it (details and photos) and help finding professionals. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Before we text you, you confirm the mobile number with a one-time code. Confirming a number does not opt you in by itself.

Or text us first

You can start a conversation by texting (865) 563-5927, our listing assistant's number. We reply only within that conversation, about your listing or your questions. By texting us, you agree to receive recurring automated replies from diyre about your home listing. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Msg frequency varies. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to cancel.

Stopping

Reply STOP to any message to stop all texts; we confirm once, and then send nothing more. Reply START to opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or reach a person at www.diyre.io/contact. Stopping texts does not close your account and does not stop email. Those are separate settings you control.

Two things are deliberately kept apart: verifying a phone number proves it is yours, and consenting to messages says what we may send. Verifying does not opt you in, and replying START after STOP restores texts without restoring marketing consent.

Your number and your consent

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. We use your number only to run this program, through the providers that deliver our messages. See our privacy policy. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

What we never send by text

Passwords, full offer documents, Social Security numbers, bank details or wire instructions. If you receive a text claiming to be from us that contains any of those, or that asks you to send money, it is not from us.
